- How I obtained this career
- I started job hunting during my 2nd year here. First, I worked as an intern for a small project studio on the weekends for about 3 months. I wanted to see bigger studios so I conducted research into many companies. I made a list of companies in Tokyo with big studios, further, I researched which compaies had job vacancies, the layout of the studios and affiliated artists, then narrowed down my list to a few. One of the companies left was the Green Bird. When I went there for an interview, I was very happy to see many artist CDs that I liked. A couple of days after the interview, I received a call from the studio manager. He asked me if I could start work immediately, so I said yes. From there, I started working at the studio as an intern. Everyday, I observed my seniors' work and learned little by little, and after a year I was able to become a full-time worker. I received help from the International Center staff for my visa application, and I was able to get a work visa. 3 years have passed since then, and I'm still doing my best in this industry.
