How I obtained this career
I came to Japan 5 years ago to learn about new technologies. I went to a Japanese Language School and then later enrolled in Nagoya Communication Arts College. I took an interior design class when I first attended a trial lesson session at the school and thought to myself, "I could really do this!" and decided to enroll in the school. Once I began my studies, I really enjoyed classes such as drafting, 3D CG, and interior coordinating. One after the other I mastered things I couldn't do previously, and my classes became even more enjoyable. In the spring of my second year, I decided in earnest to begin looking for a job in order to work in Japan and applied to several companies. The school Career Center staff helped me with mock interviews and other things. Sometimes they were kind and sometimes they were strict. I had difficulty communicating my thoughts in Japanese during job interviews, but I received an offer of employment from the company where I wanted to work, so I was very happy. After I acquire more experience here in Japan, I want to take what I have learned and work as an engineer in my home country. I intend to do my very best to become a bridge for exchange between Vietnam and Japan.
