At first, I came to Japan to study the Japanese language. I was studying design in South Korea, and I started to want to study Japanese design while enrolled at a Japanese school, then I enrolled at TCA. Usually, I don't act according in pursuit of my goals, but rather, goals arise from my situation and actions.
I graduated from an art high school, then enrolled at an industrial design course in a university. While in university, I taught dessin at an art school for a year and a half, and then served in the military as a vehicle service officer. That is how I became interested in cars. As the day for discharge approached, I started thinking about my future. I wanted to acquire language skills, so I decided to come and study in Japan. Then, I worked part-time and saved up money, and finally came to Japan.
The first problem I had was with Japanese food. I had a lot of problems at first, but gradually got used to the food. Even though South Korea and Japan are neighbors, the culture is so different. I had a great difficulty in understanding how to socialize and talk to people. To understand Japanese culture, I watched many Japanese TV programs, and I also visited many places to socialize with Japanese people. Of course, there are some things I still don't understand about Japanese culture, but it doesn't affect me. I enjoy everyday of living here.
In school life, there are fun and interesting things as well as hard and sad things sometimes. When I fail repeatedly, I lose my will to study. However, when I overcome my failures, I am filled with a feeling of accomplishment, and I can find a renewed sense of purpose there. I have participated in various projects, and gained a lot of experience from them. I am myself now because I had not only fun experiences but also hard ones too.. I am satisfied because everyday is very fulfilling.
