I have been interested in Japanese culture since I was a child, and my dream from then was to live in Japan.
After I graduated from an American high school, I attended a technical school in Canada to become a graphic designer. I met a professional designer there whom I respect, and he recognized my taste in design. He had worked as a design director in Tokyo for 4 years, and he recommended that I study in Japan.
Outside school hours, I work as a freelance designer, but I never really have too much money. I tried to save money on living costs. At first, I couldn't get used to the Kansai-dialect, but I was able to understand it after a year. I like living in Osaka now, and every day is fun.
At school, I have basic image and music courses, and I also participate in music events as an image staff. I acquire knowledge and skills for directing and camera work on location. I work hard with my classmates, and I think my skills are improving everyday. I can learn new things everyday, so school life is busy but very fulfilling.
