I studied industrial design in South Korea. I liked cars, so I decided to study in Japan, which has a good environment for learning about car design.
During my junior high school years, I dedicated 3 years to golf to become a professional golf player. However, I decided to attend an industrial high school with a design course, then attended a university in which I majored in industrial design. I served in the military while in university, then after I graduated I decided to come to Japan to become a car designer.
I always liked sushi, sashimi and ramen, so I didn't have any problems with food in Japan. But I had a hard time with the language and living abroad by myself. As I observed and experienced the culture, I was able to start understanding things a little by little. Sometimes, I still don't understand some things, but living here is very enjoyable.
School life is very fulfilling. During my first year, with the help from the teachers and seniors, I was able to complete my first major piece of work. I was extremely happy about it. After that, I participated in many corporate projects and gained a lot of experience in the field.
